What is a labor doula?

Birth or Labor Doulas offer physical,emotional and informational support to women/couples during labor and delivery. This relationship is usually established with a couple prenatal visits.

Labor Doula

This service includes two prenatal appointments for education and writing a birth plan, as well as, getting to know each other. I am on-call starting two weeks before your due date up to your delivery or two weeks after your due date. I will attend your birth as a labor support person and stay up to two hours after you deliver. I also provide one postpartum visit if you would like. I am available through out your pregnancy by phone or e-mail for resources or information.
